The department of Mechanical Engineering has been recognized for excellence in academics and research. Being one of the largest departments in the institute, it is continuously striving to improve the quality of education, academics and industry oriented research as well as consultancy work with service to the society.
Academic course work and projects are designed to endow students with the ability to apply knowledge of science mathematics and engineering. With a solid grounding in the principles and practice of mechanical engineering, our students are ready to engage in ethical approaches to engineering with concern of society and the environment.
